Intro & New Features
The Rekker Morph Pro Goalie Stick is for the goalies who want to bring quickness, deceptiveness, and precision to their game. Built to help keep pucks out of the, the asymmetrical paddle design and reinforced rounded shaft maximize rebound control and blocking coverage. For the elite goaltenders, the Rekker Morph goalie stick is built to match your performance.
Shaft Construction
The shaft of the Rekker Morph Pro is constructed using a variety of materials to make it as reliable as possible. Sherwood added Pyrofil which is a revolutionary, lightweight carbon fibre that is created by Mitsubishi and is designed to enhance performance, durability, and overall feel.
Sherwood has also included UNIframe and Featherlite XT carbon fibres in the shaft. UNIframe is a unique monolithic construction that allows Sherwood to reduce the weight and achieve a pure flex profile across the shaft and paddle. Featherlite XT is a precision measured, handmade layup process designed to create the perfect balance point to maximize power, weight, and feel.
Paddle Construction
The paddle on the Rekker Morph Pro features a G-fire kickpoint. This is a mid-kick flex profile that allows the goalie to load the puck onto the stick, without losing control of the paddle. The paddle is also reinforced with Silverline XXV carbon fibre, which is a unique, high-performance spread tow fabric that is designed to reduce the weight and increase the strength of the stick.
Blade Construction
Sherwood constructed the blade on the Rekker Morph Pro with a G-92 dampening material. This design provides vibration dampening while adding toughness to the heel area of the blade, which increases the blades durability.
Graphics
The graphics on this goalie stick feature a primarily silver base from the shaft down to the toe of the blade. The shaft is darker, with the Sherwood is grey, while the paddle features the Sherwood and Rekker logos in black. There is also a green Sherwood logo on the paddle, close to where it meets the shaft.
Grip
Sherwood added a Go Zone tactile grip when designing this goalie stick. This is a 3D grip texture on the shaft that allows for better control and more power.
Blade Patterns & Paddle Lengths
The Sherwood Rekker Morph Pro Intermediate Goalie Stick comes in three different blade curves. Sherwood offers this stick in PP31, and PP41, as well as paddle length 24 in a right and left hand.
PP41 is a straight face blade curve. The toe curve allows for stronger passing while the straight face helps to control the puck. This curve is also known as the Thibault curve.
PP31 is a popular mid-curve pattern known for its balance of puck control and passing accuracy. It features a closed toe and is often described as having a lot of hook. This curve is well-suited for goalies who need to handle the puck in tight situations and make accurate passes.
