Intro & New Features

For the 2025 Bauer goalie skate line, Bauer has released the Konekt HF3 goalie skates. These skates feature an Anaform customizable thermoform shell, a HingeFlex cuff, and an Ultralon padding around the ankle to bring together a high-level skate that has a close connection to a ski boot.

Skate Fit Profile

The Konekt HF3 is designed to form fit around your foot, so all parts are thermoformable from the boot itself to the liner. It is important to note that the skates are less stiff than the original Konekt skates, but they still include various buckles that can be difficult to fit and form when wearing the skate for the first time.

Boot Construction & Stiffness

These skates are tailored for the performance level goalie, hence the use of materials and technologies in the boot. This boot has an Anaform customizable thermoform shell, which means it can give you that needed protection while also providing impressive support and push on the ice. Additionally, it can form to the foot much easier compared to its predecessor.

Liner & Internal Padding

The Konekt HF3 skates use a Bauer overlap liner with added Ultralon padding in the ankle. This foam has amazing shock absorption capabilities, and it is also thermoformable. Ultralon foam does not hold odour well, which means it will help keep you from feeling fresher for longer as you play.

Holders & Steel

The Bauer Konekt HF3 goalie skates are equipped with the Vertexx Edge holders and paired with it are the LS5-G runners.

Strapping

Unlike typical hockey skates, the Bauer Konekt HF3 uses straps, cuffs, and buckles, very similar to ski boots. These skates also use customizable HingeFlex technology, which were also present in the original Konekt skate. HingeFlex is the upper shell cuff of the boot that moves with your ankle when you move. HingeFlex is designed to make the skate more flexible in the ankle area. The two buckles at the ankles and toe of the foot are built to lock your foot in a snap, making it quicker and easier than ever to get ready for a game.

The Bauer Konekt HF3 Junior Goalie Skates are available in sizes 1-3 in a regular width.
