The PSYCHOCANDYs shape is based on the innovative WARPIG, so the board is designed to be ridden 3 to 6 cms shorter than your standard board and approaches the mountain with the same ideology attitude that the WARPIG is known for. A Tapered Bi-Radial Sidecut maximizes grip and allows the PSYCHOCANDY to maintain speed in all conditions. Carbon Slimewalls enhance response and stability. The PSYCHOCANDY is a UNISEX directional all-mountain board designed to ride like a WARPIG so you can tackle any and all terrain the mountain has to offer, be it park, pipe, pow or slush.

Zero Camber Profile:

Flat. Zero camber.

Directional Shape:

Designed to be ridden in one direction. More nose than tail, set back stance, and a sidecut to match. Can you still ride it switch? Yeah, of course. Is it going to be as good riding switch all day long? Probably not.

Bi-Radial Sidecut:

A twin sidecut which allows for the underfoot width of a wide board in the tip/tail width of a standard size. This design provides improved leverage on landings, grip through turns, and stability on flat base.

Slimewalls:

RIDEs exclusive Slimewalls are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in Slimewalls smoothes the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you may ride on. On top of all that, these babies are virtually indestructible, the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding.

Roll-In Construction:

Unique 3D structure built around our urethane Slimewall sidewalls. Designed to increase overall board strength, prevent topsheet chipping, and reduce weight.

Carbon Slimewalls:

This totally unique sidewall combines layers of Slimewalls material and carbon strategically placed at the inserts out to the contact points in the tip and tail on a twin, and the back inserts to the contact points in the tail on a directional board. This exclusive tech enhances the charging riders experience as we have moved the carbon pop construction to the outside edge for better stability and enhanced response.

Double Impact Plates Laminates:

Added underneath each binding area to improve compressive strength and prevent board breaks where it matters most.

Carbon Array 5 Laminates:

This power distribution technology provides total board control in every stance location. Widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone gather input from any stance width and all pressure angles. Rider input is then channeled to the opposing contact point for maximum board control. Offered in two levels of technology, 3 & 5.

Carbon Infused Glass Fiberglass:

90 Carbon fibers stitched into the glass. Extra pop and response, without adding extra stiffness.

Sintered 4000 Base:

High-end sintered 4000 Ptex base material that is more durable, harder and faster than extruded.

Stone Ground Base:

The absolute best way to finish building a snowboard. Nice and flat base, no weird bumps or extra material. Stone ground is the way to go, ask your local tune shop.

Performance Light Core:

Specially formulated for the womens line, this core combines lightweight Paulownia wood stringers with high strength Aspen.

Standard Top Sheet Edges:

Durable Urethane topsheet material with graphics only RIDE can bring you.

Bio Resin:

Our plant based Bio Resin is one of the biggest impacts for sustainability. By using a Bio based resin instead of a traditional epoxy to assemble boards, were able to drastically reduce our carbon emissions while using less toxic chemicals. Win-win for everyone.

Wend Meadowfoam Biodegradable Wax:

The Meadowfoam factory wax we use is made from wildflower seeds native to California and Oregon. All WEND Meadowfoam snow wax blends are non-toxic and completely biodegradable

30% Recycled Steel Edges:

Everyone knows about recycling, but nobody thinks about it when it comes to snowboard edges. Hell, do people even think about their snowboard edges? Luckily for you were thinking of both. Edges on RIDE Snowboards contain 30% recycled materials. That means part of your snowboard could be made out of a car, an airplane, a building, who knows. Anything steel and recycled could turn into a snowboard edge

FSC Certified Paper Packaging:

What does this mean for snowboard packaging? Well how about those stickers on the base that are a pain in the ass to peel off? Yup, made with FSC Certified Materials. Boxes the boards are shipped in? Also FCS Certified.
