The Bauer Vapor Select hockey skates are a Source Exclusive product available at select retailers. These skates are tailored specifically for players needs, and are ideal for players looking for performance enhancing features, new technology, and instant comfort all at a lower price.

Skate Fit Profile

The Bauer Vapor Select Senior Hockey Skates come in sizes 7-11.5 (full & half), and size 12 (full only). These skates also come in regular and wide skate widths.

Boot Construction & Stiffness

The Digi Comp boot keeps the skates performance competitive without making it too stiff and difficult to skate in. For further reinforcement and stiffness at the bottom of the boot, these skates also have a Digi Comp outsole. This design allows for flexibility in a Vapor skate while still having stiffness to withstand and cater to powerful strides.

Liner & Internal Padding

With a sublimated liner that is designed to wick away moisture and keep the skates fresh, and memory foam ankle padding, players can have a skate that is comfortable and protective, while also feeling fresh for longer.

Lacing System

The Velocity hockey skates use a traditional lacing system when compared to all other hockey skates. The standard flex facing lace system along the eyelets are designed to keep the skates tight with improved durability and reliability.

Tongue

This skate comes equipped with a 40oz felt tongue. This tongue focuses on comfort and performance, and is infused with an injected comfort pad down the middle to offer a balance of performance, support, and an overall great feel.

Steel/Runner/Profile/Blade Holder

The Velocity skates come with a Lightspeed Edge holder with a trigger release system. This holder holds the LS+ steel into place to eliminate any loosening or the blade slipping out. The LS+ steel is designed to maintain durability, edge retention, and an enhanced glide while on the ice.

Toe Cap

Designed with a traditional toe cap that accommodates a range of foot sizes, this toe cap provides a versatile fit. It allows players with different foot shapes to find the right balance of comfort and support. It ensures that players of varying foot sizes can enjoy a secure and snug fit, enhancing overall stability on the ice.

Insoles

The Select skates feature a mid-density footbed, which provides adequate cushioning and absorbs impact, reducing fatigue during extended periods of play and offering a balance between support and comfort. The foam contours to the shape of the foot, ensuring a personalized fit and enhancing overall stability on the ice.

Graphics

The skates have a black base, with white and silver accents highlighting the Select and Bauer logo. There are also yellow lines in a modern design to further enhance the look of this skate.
