Intro & New Features
Put your finger on the pulse of the game. Featuring an ergonomic design and a player-inspired taper, the Bauer Pulse goalie stick is engineered to help you play the puck as well as you stop it. Catch hard rims along the boards with ease, feed defenders for quick breakouts plays, or go for glory with a shot at the empty net. No matter the situation, goalies will be ready to take control of every moment.
Shaft Construction
The shaft on the Bauer Pulse is constructed using TeXtreme carbon fiber. This material is used in Bauer goalie gear because of its durability, reliability, and performance. TeXtreme is more durable compared to other carbon fiber materials, and it is also incredibly lightweight. Bauer also included a tapered square shaft to this stick which is designed to help goalies give more feedback and responsiveness whenever the puck is on your blade.
Paddle Construction
Similar to the shaft, the paddle is also constructed using TeXtreme carbon fiber, a lightweight material used to increase durability and performance. This material is also more durable when compared to other carbon fiber materials. Inherited from previous goalie sticks, the Pulse features an ergo spine which is a unique design that creates a thinned-out layer of TeXtreme composite for your full sized paddle with a reinforcement spine on the back of the paddle. This design reduces weight and provides a sturdy base and efficient rebound control.
Another feature of the Pulse goalie stick is the addition of Boron material. This material is strong, reactive and is engineered to optimize energy transfer and give goalies that extra edge when handling the puck. Despite reducing the overall weight of the stick, Boron is extremely durable and it keeps the stick lightweight, without sacrificing reliability.
Blade Construction/Stiffness
The blade is constructed with an ExpanCel core which provides a lighter weight, greater durability, and an overall optimized feel when handling the puck. A new feature in the Bauer Pulse is the addition of the hybrid toe with TeXtreme. The Hybrid toe is a redesigned toe that features a square shape at the top of the blade to help stop board rims, while the bottom of the blade is rounded to help goalies pull the puck off the boards and make plays with the puck.
Grip
The new ergonomic grip is unlike anything goalies have experienced before. It is made to match the contours of your hand, this unique design helps remove negative space to keep you locked in through every movement. This goalie stick also includes a new raised-ink design that offers that premium feel and next-level grip, providing a better handle on the stick.
Blade Patterns, Paddle Lengths, Level of Play
The Bauer Pulse Junior Goalie Stick comes in a P31 curve in Black. It is also offered in a left hand only with a 22 paddle length.
P31 is designed to optimize the balance between puck control and quickly moving the puck for more accurate passes. The mid curve design improves grip on the puck making it easier to handle in tight.
