Intro & New Features
The Vapor Flylite stick is engineered for players who can change the game with a flick of the wrist. Headlined by the exclusive Twitch Taper Technology, this ultra-reactive construction gives players a fluid and powerful shot that can light the lamp at any time. And with an aluminum-reinforced blade that lowers the weight of the stick without affecting durability, youll be turning split-second opportunities into game-defining moments.
Stick Profile
The Vapor series is Bauers low-kick stick family, meaning this stick is optimized for quick and explosive shots. The low-kick point is positioned near the bottom of the shaft, allowing players to generate maximum energy transfer from the blade to the puck during snap shots and wrist shots.
Shaft Construction
The Flylite stick features Twitch Taper Technology which is a new taper design that begins closer to your bottom hand to load shots sooner and recoil faster – resulting in a more efficient energy transfer and reactive release. The Flylite hockey stick weighs 360 grams (SR), and is constructed using ACL 2.0 technology. ACL 2.0 is an ultra-lightweight carbon fiber design that has been strategically layered to reduce weight and offer increased strength throughout the stick.
Blade Construction
The blade construction of the Vapor Flylite stick features the innovative Hypercore 2 bladecore, which is a revolutionary design to enhance shooting capabilities in nearly all aspects. With a 10% increase in recoil, Hypercore 2 helps players release the puck quickly and with added power, making it ideal for quick-release shots and accurate passes. The carbon bridge features a stiffer construction to create even quicker rocket-like releases and integrated aluminum to enhance durability.
Grip
The Vapor Flylite hockey stick uses a glossy grip to enhance your hold on the stick and puck handling. It also has a round shaft that allows players to have a natural feel in their hands while playing, which allows for better transitions between stick handling and shooting.
Blade Patterns, Flex & Stick Length
The Bauer Vapor Flylite Junior stick comes in the following blade patterns: P92, P28, and P90T.
P92 is the best blade pattern for all-around play, with a mid-curve style. It is great at handling the puck in small spaces, including face-offs. This curve may suffer a little bit on the backhand.
P28 is a much more aggressive stick pattern, used often by elite players. This blade curve specializes in quick and accurate shots, but it can be a bit difficult to get used to since it is also very good at raising the puck.
P90T is a hybrid of P92 and P28, it has the lie of the P92 and the toe of the P28. Additionally, the curve is a bit taller for more control and power on faceoffs and board battles.
30 Flex (P92, P28, P90T), L/R – 50
