Intro & New Features

The CCM Phenom leg pads are built with a flat-faced design and strategic shape to help young goalies get a great butterfly seal and direct pucks out with ease. It features added padding along the leg channel and the knee ensures maximum comfort, while the outer landing area of the knee and stabilizer helps young goalies glide with speed.

External Material

The Phenom leg pads feature a Dflex outer construction. The flat-face design with angulation is created to help goalies direct pucks and rebounds with control and ease.

Internal Construction

Made from Litecore technology, the core is designed to be incredibly lightweight with a flexible feel built to move and react with every save. The flat-faced design helps angle the puck out of harms way.

Pad Break

CCM used a single inner, single outer pad break when constructing the Phenom leg pads. This provides goalies with a flexible feel with added curvature above the knee for great 5-hole coverage.

Boot Angle

The Phenom leg pads feature a shallow soft boot channel with bootstrap, which allows for a responsive fit between the skate and the pads. The flexible boot helps with the seal along the post and powerful butterfly pushes.

Leg Channel & Strapping

The leg pads feature a comfort wrap that provides a tight fit for goalies while these pads are being worn. The comfort wrap has easy strapping with mesh comfort wrapping that is shaped for easy pad rotation and recovery.

Knee Stack

The knee area features a quick stack with comfort padding to provide an extra level of protection. This provides an excellent balance and seal along the ice while the contoured corner reduces pad interference.

Toe Bridge

On the Phenom leg pads, CCM implemented an offset hybrid skate lace and elastic system to attach the leg pads. This feature helps goalies get their skate to the ice for easy side to side and recovery pushes.
