Intro & New Features
The HZRDUS 5×5 goalie stick brings pro-inspired performance to competitive goaltenders who are ready to elevate their game. Built with key technologies found in Trues HZRDUS SMOKE, it delivers unmatched consistency and value at its price point. With a balanced feel, elite-level tech, and dialed-in control, the HZRDUS 5×5 gives you the confidence to own every save and play the puck with purpose.
Shaft Construction
The shaft of the 5×5 goalie stick is crafted using Axenic Technology. This unique manufacturing process is instrumental in creating an ultra-consistent, one-piece design. The absence of fusion points or overlaps in construction leads to a more balanced stick, translating to better control in handling the puck and shooting, as well as an enhanced overall feel during play.
Paddle Construction
The paddle is constructed using SRT2, which is a 2-rib profile designed for stability and control. The paddles design is a solid combination of balanced and lightweight to further enhance the efficiency and power you want when controlling and handling the puck. The heightened stiffness works with the softer shaft to enhance performance and feel.
Blade Construction
Similar to the paddle, the blade is also constructed using SRT2, a 2-rib profile that is designed for stability and control. Different from other models in the HZRDUS line, the 5×5 goalie stick features a pass foam blade, which reduces weight and allows for better stability and control.
Grip
The 5×5 goalie stick uses a clear gloss shaft, paddle, and blade with a textured grip on the shoulder for optimal feel and control. Along with the square shaft shape, it allows goalies to hold onto their sticks with confidence, while still remaining focused on the game.
Blade Patterns, Paddle Length, Levels of Play
The True HZRDUS 5×5 Junior Goalie Stick comes in paddle length 21 in a T31 blade pattern. This goalie stick is also available in Black.
T31 is a popular mid-curve pattern known for its balance of puck control and passing accuracy. It features a closed toe and is often described as having a lot of hook. This curve is well-suited for goalies who need to handle the puck in tight situations and make accurate passes.
