Intro & New Features

Celebrate the 20th anniversary of Warrior with the release of the Covert Deluxe hockey stick. Inspired by the QR6 Pro, this stick features an O.G. shaft shape, edge blade technology, and an overall lightweight and durable construction throughout the stick. With a variety of flexes and blade curves available, celebrating this milestone is nothing short of easy.

Stick Flex Profile

The Covert line is classified as a low to ultra-low kick point hockey stick, amplified by the QREdge taper near the hosel. This taper takes a hexagonal shape to augment power and quick release, the latter of which is a staple of the low kickpoint. The hexagonal shape also includes more sides on the shaft, making that taper much more durable.

The Covert Deluxe hockey stick has been created with an ultralow kickpoint. This kickpoint has been redesigned with a lower and sharper rib for the fastest release from a Warrior stick. Low kick points are designed to flex closer to the blade to maximize energy release, which allows for a quick, explosive shot, making it ideal for players who rely on fast-paced gameplay and quick releases.

Shaft Construction

Warrior is always reworking their carbon construction and materials when designing their shafts for their sticks, and the Covert Deluxe is as light as they come. Using the Minimus Carbon 25 weave, the carbon fibers create a lightweight and durable hockey stick.

The carbon weave is paired with the P.L. 188 shaft construction. It is a completely reengineered construction that provides improved durability and weight reduction. A more refined construction process that provides improved durability and weight reduction by using lower weight fibers and thermoplastic-toughened epoxy resin that creates a consistent level of balance, weight, and durability.

The shaft also features an OG shaft shape, with flat side walls and rounded corners to provide a consistent feel and control for stickhandling, shooting, and passing.

Blade Construction

The Covert Deluxe continues to use the Edge blade. This new redesigned blade technology features a unique shape where the blade meets the ice. The Edge Blade design engages the stick like never before making it even easier to load for quick release shots. The lightweight polymer blade core wrapped with Minimus Carbon 25, enhances puck feel and reduces blade fatigue.

Grip

Warrior has implemented a mix between two different raised patterns, with a pigskin texture on the sides of the shaft, and ribbing along the spine. Pigskin texture is a non-animal based grip that replicates the feel of a football. This grip is a medium tack finish.

Blade Patterns, Flex & Stick Lengths

The Warrior Covert Deluxe Junior Hockey Stick comes in the following blade patterns: W03 and W28.

W03 is the best blade pattern for all-around play, with a mid-curve style. It is great at handling the puck in small spaces, including face-offs. However this curve may suffer a little bit on the backhand.

W28 is a much more aggressive stick pattern, used often by elite players. This blade curve specializes in quick and accurate shots, but it can be a bit difficult to get used to since it is also very good at raising the puck.
